Director of Product Management

The Director of Product Management is responsible for setting the strategic and tactical product direction based on a complete understanding of industry market trends and issues. Relationship building skills are a required in order to interact with users, customers/prospects, industry experts and partners. The Director of Product Management will act as product champion and spokesperson—internally and externally—to positively influence customers, prospects, partners, employees, and industry analysts.

This key leadership position requires an individual that has strong marketing, product, and technical skills. This position will provide the foundation from which we further define, build and expand our leading wireless software applications within the Financial Services industry. This candidate must have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for internal interaction with Marketing, Engineering, Business Development and Sales. Additionally, this position requires external communications and interactions with customers and partners as well marketing and industry consulting organizations. Ideally, the candidate should have experience managing a small product management department or group.

The position requires hands-on experience throughout the entire product lifecycle, including product vision and marketing, planning and direction, definition, implementation and deployment. The candidate should have practical experience in product management methodologies, having developed product marketing documents, plans and roadmaps, specifications and requirements. The candidate should have a background working in software product and solution companies and experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus. Experience in the mobile and wireless market would be of tremendous value, especially as it relates to financial services enterprises, though it is not required. This position can be effectively grown to the V.P. level based upon individual and corporate success.

Product Specialist
Positions open in NYC and in Waltham, MA

The Product Specialist is primarily responsible for assisting the sales team by completely understanding a prospect prior to a first meeting (details provided by sales team), preparing the system and database accordingly and to demonstrate the product to a prospect. Although the sales team manages the process the Product Specialist is instrumental in both assessing current needs of prospective customers prior to on-site demonstrations as well as presenting the overall mPlatform® solution to the customer to assist in closing deals. It is expected that the Product Specialist will execute streamlined, error-free demonstrations for prospective customers. They will also prepare and maintain sales tools such as demonstration and presentation software, materials and equipment. In addition they will be proficient at answering technical questions regarding software capability, installation and system requirements. The Product Specialist time will be spent preparing for meetings, traveling with sales team members, demonstrating the system and following up on meetings (under the direction of the sales manager). The Product Specialist is expected to have an understanding of the mPlatform® roadmap and an in-depth understanding of the technology used within mPlatform®. On occasion the Product Specialist may provide post-sales consulting. Due to the strategic nature of the position, the role is within the Product Management team. Software Implementation Lead
There are two positions available:

The Software Implementation Lead is responsible for working with our customers to configure and implement Pyxis Mobile software products. This person will identify specific business requirements, configure software to meet those requirements, and work with the customer to ensure a successful product implementation. An understanding of the Investment Management industry and investment product distribution is preferable. Software Sales Representative
Pyxis Mobile is looking for highly motivated, accomplished, software sales representatives with experience in the Enterprise Software and Financial Services industries to sell industry-leading wireless software to senior business and IT professionals within major corporations. Responsibilities include all aspects of the sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, presenting, proposing, and closing. Success in this role is defined by achieving the assigned bookings goal for the territory. In this role, multiple products and services will be sold into new, as well as existing accounts, through face-to-face sales calls in the assigned territory.
